GREETERS: These volunteers greet the clients as they come for assistance. SCREENERS: Interview clients to determine eligibility for assistance and facilitate the necessary arrangements for delivery of appropriate services. CLOTHING: Morning volunteers help clients choose their clothing. Volunteers in the afternoon sort clothing donations. FOOD: Volunteers gather food from the Coalition pantry for eligible clients to take home. TRANSPORTATION: Male volunteers drive clients to Carthage to apply for services including food stamps and run errands as needed. FOOD SHOPPERS: Shop at the Food Bank for whatever food is available. RESALE SHOP: Volunteers work during the week pricing and sorting donated items. Wednesday and Saturday volunteers sell the merchandise. |
